This article is not entirely accurate. Like there advertisements it sounds better then it is . Sharetown takes a huge percentage which makes items hard to sell because the rep should be compensated for their time and effort. There is no transparency. When you ask a manager all they say is “reps make more then Sharetown”, but won’t tell you the breakdown. It’s a joke… there are many other side hustles out there that are more profitable.

This article is not entirely accurate. Sharetown has changed their contract and no longer allows their reps to sell products over the map price and they have raised their cut so while it is true that for a while, the margins were much bigger before early 2024 and prior. The margins now since the change which was in June 2024 are very small and Sharetown has consistently continued to raise the Sharetown cut to where there is times that you’re only making $100 on a mattress and on a good mattress you might make 200. Please be more accurate with this article because it is not entirely accurate and yes, I am a current Sharetown rep.

In reply to Ferg. I guess you don't like to stay at hotels too... Pretty sure a 90 day mattress sprayed with a sanitizer, put into a plastic bag, and then sealed up by you with a mattress cover is going to be cleaner than any hotel you've ever been in.

I’m not buying a used mattress from anyone or any business. Bedbugs, fleas, dog hair, exposure to pollens, petrochemicals, in handling, storage and transport is not worth the savings you receive. No thanks. I’m not being hustled.

Please stop including mobile notaries on your list of good hustles to pursue. You are driving prices through the floor. I used to make a decent living, but now everyone in competing in my space and offers per job are quickly falling.
